A friendly Christmas market in the very heart of the town
The town's historical city centre hosts a large Christmas market outside the cathedral of Saint-Etienne. Every year, visitors are amazed at the attractive displays of Christmas lights and fabric decorations. Overlooked by the traditional facades of the town's Place de la Réunion, some 50 small huts propose a wide range of craftsmen-made products. The delicious fragrances of mulled wine, gingerbread, hot chestnuts and bredele waft through the market, inviting you to sample these famous regional specialities. With its festive illuminations, unique of their kind in Alsace, and its various attractions including storytelling, group's songs and Advent concerts, Mulhouse is the perfect place to enjoy the magic of Christmas.
